Fiona Apple stopped by Jimmy Fallon’s Late Night show yesterday to perform “Anything We Want,” a song that she had originally debuted at South By South West and also landed on her new album The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do. Soulfully rocking out with the always-dependable instrumentation from The Roots, the Manhattan native celebrated Paul McCartney’s 70th birthday by giving her own rendition of McCartney’s “Let Me Roll It.” All in all, Fiona Apple is just too awesome for words.
