[New Music] The xx – “Angels”

The xx are back! With “Angels” to be released as the single off the band’s forthcoming album Coexist, I’m glad to hear some new material. When listening to The xx, they manage to create a sound that is wistfully beautiful. Balancing the dark instrumentation with lead singer Romy Madley Croft’s soft voice, “Angels” is quite the trip.
