[Cover] Ben Gibbard Cover’s Stars’ “Set Yourself On Fire”

Ben Gibbard released a rough demo of Stars track “Set Yourself On Fire”. The cut that Gibbard tweeted was supposed to be a part of a Stars compilation featuring covers of their songs by other artists.The 2007 album, Do You Trust Your Friends, featured covers by Metric , The Stills, and Kevin Drew. The Gibbard track was never finished but you can stream it above. The recording definitely sounds a little rough but it sounds like it could have been on The Postal Service’s album, Give Up.
